The problems appeared in the use process of ball mill can be dealt with like this:
Common problem No.1: no powder or little powder with low output.
Reasons: (1) The lock powder device isn't adjusted well and the sealing is loose, which lead to the powder suck-back.
(2) The scraper knife is of great abrasion and can't scoop up the
materials.
Solutions:(1) Check and adjust the sealing of lock powder device. Once found the air leakage, use the scraper to stop it.
(2) Change for a new scraper knife.Common problem No.2: the powder of the finished product is over-coarse or over-fine.
Reasons: (1) The blades of the classifier is of bad abrasion and can't classify the material.
(2) The fan delivery is inadequacy.
Solutions: (1) Change the balde and decrease the supply air rate of fan properly to make it finer.
(2) For the over-fine products, increase the inlet air quantity.Common problem No.3: then main engine electric current goes up, the engine temprature goes up, and the fan elctric current goes down.
Reasons: (1) The feeding is too much, which makes the air flue blocked by powder lot and the air exhaust of pipeline is obstructed. The circulating air emits heat and make the temprature of the main electric current and the engine increase, while the fan elctric current decrease.
Solutions: (1) Decrease the inlet amount and clean the powder in air flue.
(2) Turn up the air pipe valve, and keep the inlet material temprature below 6 centigrade degreee.
Common problem No.4: the main engine of ball mill is of high noise and great vibration.
Reasons: (1) The inlet amount is little. The scraper knife wear is bad and can't scoop up materials. The foundation bolt is loose.
(2) The hard impact of material is large and there is no bed of material.
(3) The grinding roll and grinding ring is out of round and shape badly.
