Advantages of Using a preheater in the Cement Plant

A preheater uses the heat of the smoke of the kiln tail to preheat the limestone inside the preheater to about 800℃, and then the preheated limestone is pushed out by the hydraulic push rod and goes into rotary kiln through transfer slide for calcinations and resolution.

The preheater is able to complete the preheating and resolution of raw materials and replace part of the functions of rotary kiln, thus shortening the length of rotary kiln; and at the same time, it can change the heat transfer process of the air with the state of accumulation inside the kiln to the preheater in the state of suspension, so that the raw materials can be sufficiently mixed with the hot air discharged out of the kiln to increase the contact size of the air, so that the speed of heat transfer and the efficiency of heat exchange are high, thus reaching the aims of improving the production efficiency of the kiln system and reducing the heat consumption of clinker calcinations.

In the whole cement plant, the preheater can be divided into several preheating room according to the output difference, and every preheating room is equipped with a set of hydraulic pressure pushing device and an automatic control system which is able to deliver the relevant data to the PLC control platform of the central control room for the realization of centralized control. This system has high automaticity and can realize single-point control, thus improving the safety of the production process and the production efficiency, humanizing the production process and making it intelligent and more convenient.
