The Importance and Necessity of Researching Crusher Controller
Crusher is one of the indispensable machines in the ore dressing production line and its application ranges fast expand to many industries such as metallurgy, nonferrous metals, building material and chemistry due its features of big crushing ratio, low energy consumption and even product granularity. In China, people never stops the research on crushing machines, and since the starting time of researching crushers is very late in our country, there are many problems existing in the production and use of crushers and they are listed in the following:
Since the changes of the flowability of the raw materials, it is difficult to realize even feeding; it is difficult to adjust the feeding amount according to the changes of the feeding granularity and hardness; it is difficult to timely discover the hidden dangers of accidents such as bad lubrication and short-time overload of the processing machine; due to the imperfect protective functions, the equipment is often seriously damaged when accidents happen; the operational personnel find it difficult to timely monitor the material level in the feeding box of the machine, for this reason, in order to avoid accidents, they can only reduce ore feeding, thus reducing the processing ability of the machine.
The problems mentioned above directly cause that the processing ability of every crusher per hour is far below the designed index; that the product granularity cannot be ensured; that the breakdown rate of the equipment is very high and the wear and tear of the spare parts is very serious and that the unit energy consumption increases due to the improper feeding manner.
In order to change this unsatisfactory situation, the crusher controller is researched and developed combining with the research and experiments and making use of the automatic control technology.
The crusher controller is developed based on the designing principles of small-size, on site and network, and it makes innovations to the traditional distributed control system and integrates the functions of DCS and PLC, so that it provides a whole solution plan with powerful and flexible functions for the process control and the application of chain protection. The practical application shows that the crusher control is stable and reliable in operation and excellent in the controlling effect, thus providing powerful means for the production scheduling and management.
