Working Principle and Features of Single-Stage Hammer Crusher
The single-stage hammer crusher is mainly used for crushing the raw materials mined in the quarry to the granularity that is suitable for the grinding mill and simplifies the traditional multi-stage crushing production system into one-stage crushing. It is a new type crushing machine which integrates the advantages of slow-speed hammer crusher and high-speed hammer mill and realizes the features of big feeding granularity, small discharging granularity and low electricity consumption. This paper mainly deals with the working principle and main features of the single-stage crusher.
The working principle of single-stage hammer crusher: After going into the crusher, the materials are impacted by the high-speed hammer. Large-sized materials change into small ones after being impacted for many times, and the small ones fly to the impacting board and crushed; the crushed materials are crushed again on the crushing board, and after being impacted for many times, the small-sized materials reach the product requirement and then are discharged out the machine.
The basic features of the singles-stage hammer crusher:
(1) Increase the material feeding granularity and replace the multi-stage crushing with one-stage crushing. The single-stage hammer crusher is used for crushing crisp materials such as limestone. This machine has many features such as big material feeding granularity and big crushing ratio, and it is able to crush the materials to the granularity that is suitable for grinding mill for once and simplifies the multi-stage crushing production system into one-stage crushing. Compared with the traditional two-stage crushing system, this crushing system can save the one-time investment, reduce the weight of the equipment and reduce the crushing cost of the mineral rocks. In addition, the operation of this crusher is simple and maintenance is convenient so that it decrease the working strength of the workers.
(2) Improve the adaptability of the materials. This crushing machine is generally used for crushing crisp materials such as limestone, sand rock, gypsum and coal and also for the mixed materials of limestone and clay.
(3) Improve the crushing efficiency and reduce the energy consumption and metal consumption. This type of crushing equipment has the structural features of both hammer crusher and impact crusher and absorbs the advantages of these two crushers.
(4) The over-iron protective device makes sure that the crushing work is safe and reliable.
(5) The maintenance and repair is convenient.
